Proof of Address

Proof of Address is a document that confirms where you live. Nebeus may request it during onboarding, periodic review, or enhanced checks.

What Proof of Address means?

Proof of Address is an official or reliable document showing your full name and current residential address. It helps Nebeus confirm your country of residence and meet compliance obligations.

Accepted examples

Utility billGas, electricity, water, internet, or landline bill showing your name and address.
Bank or card statementIssued by a regulated financial institution and showing your name and residential address.
Government letterTax, social security, municipal, or other official government correspondence.
Residence certificateOfficial certificate of residence or registration where available.
Lease or rental agreementMay be accepted if it is current, signed, and clearly identifies you and the address.

Document rules

  • The document should usually be dated within the last three months unless Nebeus asks for a different period.
  • Your full name and full residential address must be visible.
  • The document must not be cropped, password-protected, edited, or unreadable.
  • PO boxes, business addresses, or temporary mailing addresses may not be accepted.
  • Mobile phone bills and delivery receipts are often not enough unless the flow explicitly accepts them.

Why Proof of Address can be rejected?

  • The document is too old.
  • The address does not match the address in your account.
  • The document only shows a partial name or partial address.
  • The image is blurred, cropped, or edited.
  • The document type is not accepted for your country or review type.
