How to turn on and manage two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication, or 2FA, adds a second security step when you sign in or approve sensitive actions.

What 2FA does

2FA helps protect your account if someone learns your password. A password alone should not be enough to access or change sensitive account settings.

  • Use an authenticator app where available.
  • Keep backup access to the email and phone linked to your Nebeus account.
  • Do not send 2FA codes to anyone, including someone claiming to work for Nebeus.

If you lose access to 2FA

If you lose the phone or authenticator app used for 2FA, contact Nebeus support from the registered email or secure chat. Nebeus may need to verify your identity before resetting security settings.

SECURITY REVIEW

2FA reset requests are intentionally strict. This protects your account from takeover attempts.
