How the Nebeus card works
The Nebeus Card is a Mastercard that pays straight from your Nebeus current accounts. There is nothing to top up: each payment is taken from your accounts automatically.
What the card is
The Nebeus Card is a virtual Mastercard. You can pay with it online and in apps straight away, and in shops once you add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay on your phone.
Nebeus doesn't issue physical cards: Apple Pay and Google Pay take their place.
Where the money comes from
The card has no balance of its own. It pays from your Nebeus current accounts: a payment in a currency you hold comes from that account first. If that is not enough, the rest comes from your other current accounts in the order you set, converted at the sell rate.
Keep money in your current accounts and the card can spend it.
What you can do in Cards
- Show Details: see the card number, expiry date and CVV to pay online.
- Set PIN: choose a new 4-digit PIN at any time.
- Add Card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet: pay with your phone in shops.
- Limits: see how much you can still spend today and this month, and change your limits with Increase Limit.
- Relink: choose the order in which your accounts pay.
- Freeze: stop all payments at once, and unfreeze when you are ready.
- Terminate Card: close the card for good.
Built-in safety
Limits cap how much the card can spend, so a lost card or a fraudster can't empty your accounts. If you lose your phone or think someone has seen your card details, freeze the card right away in Cards.
Never send your card details or PIN to anyone, Nebeus included.
