How to spot phishing, impersonation, and scams
Phishing messages try to make you reveal account details, passwords, 2FA codes, card details, or crypto transfer information.
Warning signs
- A message pressures you to act immediately or says your account will be closed.
- The link does not match an official Nebeus domain.
- Someone asks for your password, 2FA code, card PIN, seed phrase, or private key.
- You are asked to install remote-access software or move funds to a safe wallet.
- The message contains spelling errors, strange formatting, or an unexpected attachment.
Interface text examples
| Screen or action | Text you may see | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Suspicious email | Verify your account now | Do not click if the sender or link is not official. |
| Fake support chat | Send your 2FA code | Nebeus support will never ask for this. |
| Browser address bar | nebeus.com or app.nebeus.com | Check the domain before signing in. |
| Real support | Open chat from the Nebeus app | Start support from inside your account when possible. |
What to do if you receive a suspicious message
- Do not click links or download attachments.
- Do not reply with account or security details.
- Take a screenshot of the message and sender.
- Contact Nebeus support through the app or official help center.
- Change your password if you entered it on a suspicious page.
CRYPTO TRANSFERS
Crypto transfers are usually irreversible. Do not send assets because someone claims they must be moved for security.
