How to spot phishing, impersonation, and scams

Phishing messages try to make you reveal account details, passwords, 2FA codes, card details, or crypto transfer information.

Warning signs

  • A message pressures you to act immediately or says your account will be closed.
  • The link does not match an official Nebeus domain.
  • Someone asks for your password, 2FA code, card PIN, seed phrase, or private key.
  • You are asked to install remote-access software or move funds to a safe wallet.
  • The message contains spelling errors, strange formatting, or an unexpected attachment.

What to do if you receive a suspicious message

  • Do not click links or download attachments.

  • Take a screenshot of the message and sender.

  • Change your password if you entered it on a suspicious page.
CRYPTO TRANSFERS

Crypto transfers are usually irreversible. Do not send assets because someone claims they must be moved for security.
